Thrive Episode 6: Interview with Amanda Davison

The entire month of February,  we'll be talking all about relationships! Do you want to improve your personal relationships? Do you feel that you struggle with behavioral patterns when it comes to relationships? Do you feel that you just keep making the same mistakes over and over in your interpersonal relationships?

Hey, we've all been there!

In today's episode, I sit down with Amanda Davison, founder of A Wife Like Me to discuss marriage and relationships.

Amanda Davison is the wife to a Minnesota farmer, mother of three, and President of the nonprofit, A Wife Like Me. She is the co-author of Dear Wife: 10 Minute Invitations to Practice Connection with Your Husband, and national speaker, and serves on staff at her local church, where she and her husband lead the marriage mentor team. Former psychology professor, Amanda is now relentlessly sharing how her education in counseling and God’s word changed her life and marriage. To learn more about Amanda and her community of other wives, please visit her website at A Wife Like Me

In this episode we discuss:

  1. How Amanda became interested in helping women with marriages?

  2. Unrealistic versus realistic expectations in a relationship

  3. The common pitfalls in marriage/relationships

  4. Ways to avoid these pitfalls
